Track of the week: Winters Poetry

There are certain times of the year when I question why I live in Canada. At a balmy -16 degrees celcius, today is one of those days. It is important to look on the bright side of things. Thus the title of this week’s track of the week is a reminder that winter isn’t all bad.

India’s Weird Sounding Dude is one of our fav producers. His most recent track (and first release for 2022), Winter’s Poetry is included in Soundgarden’s latest complilation, Winter Collection 2022.

The track opens with nice organic beats and airy pads. Those pads evolve as a restrained bassline comes in.

Many of his tracks feature melodic elements that are high up on the octaves. This track is no exception. From nice arpeggiated melodies and some beautiful piano keys, the track is a beautiful 8 1/2 minute journey that helps us forget for that time that winter sometimes sucks.

Weird Sounding Dude has become a regular on the Beatport charts. His music has gone on to gain continuous support from some of the top renowned artists such as Tony Mcguinness (from Above & Beyond), Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, Marsh, Sanjay Dutta, Armen Miran, Lost Desert, Cid Inc., Khen and many more.

With three releases out in February alone, we are expecting big things from him in 2022.
