After hanging out in progressive land for the last few weeks, we are coming back to the deep side of things for our latest track of the week selection.
This week, we turn to fellow Canadian label, Ready Mix Records and Bucher‘s remix of Highland Brothers UTD‘s track Sneaky.
This track has been on rotation for us at Deep Down HQ for a couple of months now. We just can’t get enough of it.
The track begins with a chunky, pounding kick and clicky percussion. A funky bassline drops in nice and early and carries the track the whole way.
The track is mainly about the bassline and drums with vocal stabs, key stabs and other elements floating in and out over top. It wraps up with a nice arpeggiated melody build up towards the finish.
In many ways, it is a simple track, but damn, if it isn’t catchy. This track will make you move.
